We're back now after a week in Port Aransas. We packed a lot in between day trippin' to the acquarium in Corpus, grillin' out some amazing Gulf-caught shrimp, and making waves in the hot Texas sun.

To celebrate Pentecost this year, our church went all out with a gospel music band, ice cream sundaes, and a face-painter. I thought I'd document Og's first foray into having a painted face...
Pirate Party
Our buddies Hudson and Weston threw an awesome joint birthday party full of pirate tattoos, priate's booty, pirate pinata, pirate cake, and a big ol' pirate water slide.

The Graduate
Ok...so it's been a while. What have we been up to? Well, for one, Oggie graduated from Tiny Tots! He garnered the appellation of "Safety Patrol Officer"...I guess he kept his schoolmates in line all year!

One photo of the children in their Easter Best. We may have been the only family bringing home-grown flowers for the cross; we were certainly the only ones with cilantro blooms.
Our friends joked that they were surprised they didn't find vitamins in any of the eggs. Well, you know I like to keep things natural, so they were filled with dates, pecans and homemade play-doh. It's the thrill of the hunt that matters though, right?
