Just about ready to go.

By the bright brow of St. Aelfrida, I am not Peter Pan!

First Day of School

Ogden and Amity are doing great at St. David's Day School.  Ogden has Miss Julie and Mrs. Rima in Montessori, where he's mastered the lingo and baffles us with descriptions of "Third Works" and "Pre-Lunch Cycles".  Amity runs the "Home Life" Center in the Older Two's class for Miss Karen and Miss Yvette.
Here's a throwback to the first day of school.  Thanks to Liv, visiting from Sweden with an iPhone, who captured this one.

Go Fish!

We went to Bandera for Tim's Birthday and had a good rainy fishing weekend at Muller's Ark.

Swedes in Town

There's nothing like a visit from out of town guests to get us out on the town.  We had a great time with Liv and Mandus!

An illegal swim in Ladybird Lake (with random BMXers)

Tips from a Swedish Kubb pro

A chilly dip in Barton Springs

Ain't we sweet?

Dah, da, da, da, da, da, da-da: Bat Man!

Even the Dark Night needs a rest now and then.  But he'll never reveal his true identity!

uncle nate and bubblepalooza

Here are some pics from a recent visit from Uncle Nate. We fought the sweltering heat to enjoy some bubble-craziness at Bubblepalooza downtown along with Gran, Granddad and Uncle Dave. We then enjoyed an air conditioned BBQ experience at the Green Mesquite. We chased it all down with some Dogfish Head Festina Peche at the Central Market playground.

boys' day in

what happens when the gals go out shopping? well, a tiger stripe paint job, of course!

Camp Meeting

We had a great time sittin' on the Medley porch and got our annual fix of cabrito and camp coffee.

Port Aransas 2012

We're back now after a week in Port Aransas. We packed a lot in between day trippin' to the acquarium in Corpus, grillin' out some amazing Gulf-caught shrimp, and making waves in the hot Texas sun.

A very Spidey Pentecost

To celebrate Pentecost this year, our church went all out with a gospel music band, ice cream sundaes, and a face-painter. I thought I'd document Og's first foray into having a painted face...

Pirate Party

Our buddies Hudson and Weston threw an awesome joint birthday party full of pirate tattoos, priate's booty, pirate pinata, pirate cake, and a big ol' pirate water slide.
