Amity Ray

Amity Ray Klatt was born last night at 11:45pm.  She weighed in at 8 lbs 11 oz and is 21 inches long.  Mom and baby are doing just great!

Valentine's Stroll Through the Japanese Garden

We joined all the love birds at the Botanic Gardens this weekend. Ogden enjyoys feeding gravel to the Koi and throwing sticks in the little streams that run through the garden. The Japanese Garden is one of Tim's favorite spots in Albuquerque, so we try to get out there on sunny weekend afternoons.

Gran and Grandad Come to Town

We had a chilly visit to Santa Fe, where Ogden took in the historic Spanish Mission architecture of the Cathedral and Loretto Chapel. Then we warmed up with a beer and some New Mexican grub at Blue Corn Cafe and Brewery.

Grandad set up Schnabels Remote in our laundry room where he taught Ogden how to use his first real tool set. Ogden loves to spend his free time now "workin' on tools" and "fixin' it".

Happy Birthday!

After a nap, Christmas day became Ogden's birthday. We had a lovely afternoon opening presents and eating blueberry vanilla cupcakes with orange cream cheese frosting. Dinner included pickles and olives at Ogden's request.

Thrilled to Meet Santa

Ogden joined toddlers around the world in a moment of dismay as we cheerfully plopped him down on some old guy's lap and snapped a few photos. He's been getting more into the Holiday spirit though, now that I pulled out his stocking and explained how Santa will fill it with candy and toys.
