So Og just harvested his weight in spearmint, peppermint, and lemon balm! Now we just have to figure out what to do with it...

Garden update

While we were gallavanting across Scandinavia, Og's good friends Sebastian and Virginia took good care of our Summer garden. Our lil crops exploded in size! We barely even recognized them, and have taken the last couple weeks to get to know them again.

Lavender Festival

Ah, fun times at the Lavender Festival last weekend in Los Ranchos. This is becoming one of our favorite fests. Had a great time listening to good music, eating delicious local and organic foods from Los Poblanos, drinking cool brews from Tractor Brewery, and taking in the general wonderfulness of the Los Poblanos compound.

Pre-trip garlic harvest

Okay! We're back in the US now. I'll post some pics of our Scandinavian adventures shortly. Before we left, I snapped this pics of our garlic harvest and how things in the garden looked.

Here's Og's itinerary for the next 3 weeks:

- 13 Jun - leave bright and early for Stockholm via Chicago

- 14 - 16 Jun - wander the streets and parks and kebab stands of Stockholm, then head to Uppsala to meet up with friends to be, Mandus, Liv, Eva, Roine, etc

- 16 Jun - pick up Bob

- 17 - 21 Jun - celebrate Midsummer in the Swedest of Sweden: Dalarna

- 22 - 29 Jun - head to Bergen for some hikes with Bob

- 30 - 2 Jul - hang out with friends in Oslo

- 3 Jul - head home just in time for fireworks!

Rockport 2009

Og flew down to Rockport, TX to catch some sun, experience humidity, and celebrate Uncle Paul's 7th birthday.
