Happy Birthday, Daddy-o!

downhill fun!

Ok, so I probably won't win any Parent of the Year awards from this, but it's too fun not to share:

And then they trusted me enough to do it again...

Hat tip to Kathryn for the throw-back vids.

rainy day harvest

Og took advantage of some rainy weather to try out his prized rain jacket that he picked up at a thrift store in Stockholm. While he was busy puddle hoppin', Mom harvested some tomatoes and peppers.

some favorites

Og's favorite songs:

"baby sees" (A-B-C's)

"Holy song" (Holy, Holy, Holy)

Og's favorite book:

The Foot Book by "Doc Shoes" (Dr Seuss)

Og's favorite video:

"Timing" (Baby Signing Time)

The Ogden Prayer

If you're crunched for time, but still want to offer a blessing for your meal, try the Ogden prayer: [as said daily before dinner, holding hands] "God, thanks, food, amen."

The great mint harvest

So Og just harvested his weight in spearmint, peppermint, and lemon balm! Now we just have to figure out what to do with it...

Garden update

While we were gallavanting across Scandinavia, Og's good friends Sebastian and Virginia took good care of our Summer garden. Our lil crops exploded in size! We barely even recognized them, and have taken the last couple weeks to get to know them again.

Here's the backyard...

And the front...

Ah...veggies, anyone?
